The project which is funded by "Help a Capital Child" will develop participant soft skills such as; team work, confidence, willingness to learn, health and safety awareness, whilst also providing an achievement certificate for the respective course.
It is hoped that participants will develop more healthy lifestyles as a consequence of the sport and an appetite for learning.
Although the Gymnastics class is already oversubscribed Redbridge Carnival are seeking further participants for their Bollywood Dance Classes, which are held every Monday. Further details follow:

Venue: Clementswood Community Centre, 14a Connaught Road, Ilford, Essex, IG1 1XG.
Participants on the course will be invited to perform at Redbridge Carnival's annual event. Which will be held in Ilford Town Centre next summer.
Redbridge Carnival Chairman Wilson Chowdhry said;
"These classes will provide local children an opportunity to learn a professional performance skill, that many would otherwise not be able to afford. We hope participation on these courses will encourage our next generation to take more care of their physical and mental well being, whilst also bringing together our diverse local communities."
